FED x Yallah Event: Peruvian Coffee Producer Visit

We have the immense privilege to announce we are teaming up with Yallah Coffee to host a coffee producer all the way from Peru, Ebert Huaman.

This is a free event located at our Gloucester Road site - FED 313 on the 26th of May. It will consist of a cupping (coffee tasting) and casual talk given by Ebert and will be an opportunity for people to find out more about how a coffee producer operates. The event will start at 6pm with light snacks being provided by FED. This is a truly and unique and interactive event which we hope our customers and coffee enthusiasts will thoroughly enjoy.

Ebert Huaman is a young coffee producer who is becoming known for his coffee quality and expertise in Peru. Ebert and his family collectively are known as Fince Artemira, named after Ebert’s mother, and have been operational for over 40 years.

Through Ebert’s leadership they are expanding and cultivating many coffee varietals and other crops for their livelihood. The farm uses many regenerative agricultural practises focusing on soil regeneration, biodiversity and coffee agroforestry systems, and is continually experimenting with cultivation techniques and processes. They also avoid all synthetic pesticides and fertilisers aligning with organic principles.

The family’s approach to farming is deeply rooted in tradition and education, aiming to produce high-quality coffee while nurturing their land and community.
